Accessibility

Our full accessibility conformance statement is being finalized following a WCAG audit ahead of MineForms’ launch in June 2026.

Our commitment

MineForms is being built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the implementation standard for ADA compliance in the United States and EN 301 549 in the EU. Mining work environments also drive specific design choices:

  • Touch targets sized for gloved hands. Minimum 56×56pt across the app, matching industrial field use guidelines.
  • Safety-critical text meets WCAG 2.1 AAA 7:1 contrast. Hazards, warnings, and required-field indicators are readable in bright sun and low light alike.
  • Visual + haptic alerts. Workers wear hearing protection — every alert in MineForms is delivered through more than one channel (visual + vibration).
  • Status never relies on color alone. Risk levels and statuses are signaled by shape, pattern, or text label in addition to color.
  • Screen reader and keyboard support. Standard accessibility APIs are wired throughout for assistive technology compatibility.
